ESP Chod Rigs
Chod Rigs are one of the best methods of presenting Pop-ups over weedy, silty lake beds with lots of detritus (chod) on the bottom.
For optimum efficiency the rig uses ultra sharp Stiff Rigger hooks, Stiff Bristle Filament and a smoothly rotating Japanese Uni Link Swivel.
The whipping knot on E-S-P Chod Rigs grips the hook very tightly ensuring the Bristle Filament comes off the hook dead in line with the shank.
The combination of a high quality smoothly rotating Uni Link Swivel and a subtle curved ‘set’ to the Bristle Filament means that whichever way Carp approach the hookbait the rig will spin round resulting in a secure hook hold in the bottom lip virtually every time.
Available in Size 4 - 20lb, Size 5 - 20lb, Size 6 - 15lb and Size 7 - 15lb.

Curve Shanx have a precise contour and down turned eye which continues this perfect curve.
When tied to a flexible link such as soft braid or a stripped portion of coated Dyneema, they can be relied upon to turn over and provide a secure, correctly located hook hold virtually every time.
The long, straight needle point is exceptionally sharp and combines with the low profile micro barb to aid penetration. Produced in super high carbon steel, the patern is heavily forged for maximum strength and has a non-glare, ultra slick Teflon finish for improved durability.

Developed by Terry Hearn as an ultra sharp and seriously strong bottom bait pattern which is perfect for use with particles or boilies. Has an extra tough bonded teflon coating which provides a super slick finish that improves both penetration and point durability. Due to the increased mechanical stresses which can be applied to Long Shank patterns, an extra strong wire gauge has been used together with medium heavy forging for optimum strength. Has a 15 degree downturned eye and a slightly inturned point, which helps with hooking and holding and improves general hook strength. Also with non flash teflon coating.

The first hook pattern specifically designed for the highly effective stiff rig system. The MK2 version features the non flash teflon coating that improves penetration and durability. The point has also been kept in direct line with the shank which seems to provide a small but significant improvement in hooking potential.
Features a 15 degree upturned eye for the perfect hooking angle when used with ESP Stiff rig filament. Has a Micro barb and wide gaped shape.
